EAF Water-cooled Furnace Roof

Purpose: Water-cooled furnace roof is used on ladle refining furnaces with a large capacity of high-power or ultra-high-power electric arc furnace and transformer to meet the needs of the modern steel-making process. It is one of the important components of modern metallurgical equipment.

Composition of equipment: Furnace roof body, smoke collecting hood device (or smoke exhaust elbow)

Structural features:

The water-cooled furnace roof can be divided into two types according to the smelting conditions: the water-cooled electric arc furnace roof and the water-cooled furnace roof of the ladle refining furnace. Both covers are tube-type dense row structures and are equipped with central roofs knotted with refractory materials.

The water-cooled roof of a steel-making electric arc furnace is usually conical and bench-shaped and can be multi-piece structure. Exhaust smoke is internal exhaust smoke, which is completed by a pipe-type exhaust bend.

The sidewall of the water-cooled furnace roof of the ladle refining furnace is usually cylindrical and the top is a conical bench, which is an integral structure. Exhaust smoke is external smoke, through the smoke collecting device auxiliary on the water-cooled furnace roof.
